Service Overview

A Structured Takeoff Built for Contractor Review

Quantity takeoffs are the most standardized core service in our estimating workflow. We review the agreed drawings and specifications, measure the required scope, organize quantities by trade or construction element, and provide documentation that can be checked before pricing.

Service FAQ

Questions About Quantity Takeoff Services

What do you need to start a takeoff?

Send the available drawings, specifications, trade/scope required and bid due date. We review the package before confirming fee and turnaround.

Can the takeoff be organized to our template?

Where practical, quantities can be structured around the client’s own estimating worksheet or requested breakdown.

Do you include pricing?

The takeoff can be delivered as quantities only or combined with other estimating services such as labor hours, local pricing or a structured bid worksheet.

Can you work from revised drawings or addenda?

Yes. Revised drawing and addenda scope can be reviewed and incorporated when supplied during the estimating process.

Remote Estimating Process

Documents, Pricing and Agreed Deliverables

All estimating and quantity takeoff services are provided 100% remotely throughout the United States. We do not perform site visits.

Location-Specific Cost Inputs

When cost estimating is requested, we use RSMeans Data as one of our primary sources for location-specific material and labor pricing. Inputs are selected for the project’s city/state and adjusted as appropriate for specifications, trade requirements, quantities, construction type and information supplied by the client.

A quantity-only takeoff does not include cost pricing unless it is part of the agreed scope.

What to Send

  • Scope of Works, specifications and relevant schedules

Material and labor costs are included when requested; 3D views are optional where applicable.

Missing or unclear information can be recorded as assumptions and exclusions. We confirm the scope and deliverables from the documents received before work begins.
