Labor Planning
Add estimated labor-hours to the takeoff so your team can apply its own wage structure, burden, productivity assumptions and loaded rates.

Service Overview
Labor-hour estimating converts measured project scope into estimated man-hours by trade or activity. The output is designed to add value without assuming every contractor has the same wage structure, union conditions, burden, crew productivity or internal labor strategy.
What’s Included
The exact output is confirmed for the project before estimating begins. Typical elements include:
How It Works
Plans, trade scope, bid due date and project notes.
We review the information and confirm fee, scope and turnaround.
The agreed takeoff, calculations and documentation are prepared.
Deliverables pass through the internal QA workflow before delivery.
Who This Is For
Contractors with established internal labor rates
Trade contractors comparing crew requirements
Estimators reviewing manpower exposure before bid
Teams that want takeoff + labor without outsourced final pricing
Service FAQ
No. Labor hours are estimates based on project scope and stated production assumptions; actual field productivity can vary.
Yes. That is one of the intended workflows: we provide the hours and structure, and you can apply your own loaded labor rates and crew costs.
Yes. Labor-hour estimating can be ordered together with quantity takeoffs and bid estimating worksheets.
Where required, labor pricing can be applied under the agreed estimating scope, including the client’s own rates or researched local pricing when that service is selected.
Remote Estimating Process
All estimating and quantity takeoff services are provided 100% remotely throughout the United States. We do not perform site visits.
When cost estimating is requested, we use RSMeans Data as one of our primary sources for location-specific material and labor pricing. Inputs are selected for the project’s city/state and adjusted as appropriate for specifications, trade requirements, quantities, construction type and information supplied by the client.
A quantity-only takeoff does not include cost pricing unless it is part of the agreed scope.
Depending on the agreed service and trade, deliverables may include a quantity takeoff / BOQ, material quantities, labor quantities or hours, drawing markups, trade breakdowns, inclusions and exclusions, and assumptions and clarifications. Material and labor costs are included when requested; 3D views are optional where applicable.
Missing or unclear information can be recorded as assumptions and exclusions. We confirm the scope and deliverables from the documents received before work begins.
