Connect Review Comments to the Revised Scope

Local Document Context

West Palm Beach’s Civic Access guidance distinguishes review comments in the Reviews tab from revised or additional documents submitted through Attachments. A permit record can therefore contain information from several review cycles.

What This Means for Your Estimate

For pricing, establish one drawing issue as the baseline and attach the designer’s responses that explain actual scope changes. A comment alone may not define measurable work. If a revision changes equipment, an assembly or an area, provide the revised detail and schedule so the quantity and cost adjustment can be traced. Keep pending responses separate from instructions already incorporated into the bid set.

Remote Estimating Process

Documents, Pricing and Agreed Deliverables

All estimating and quantity takeoff services are provided 100% remotely throughout the United States. We do not perform site visits.

Location-Specific Cost Inputs

When cost estimating is requested, we use RSMeans Data as one of our primary sources for location-specific material and labor pricing. Inputs are selected for the project’s city/state and adjusted as appropriate for specifications, trade requirements, quantities, construction type and information supplied by the client.

A quantity-only takeoff does not include cost pricing unless it is part of the agreed scope.
